Lemon Chicken

A flavorful and easy-to-prepare lemon chicken dish that bursts with zesty freshness, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper, then coat them evenly in parmesan cheese.
  3. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet. Add the chicken breasts, cooking for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they’re golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until aromatic.
  5. Pour in the fresh lemon juice, stirring it to blend with the garlic butter.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to soak up all the zesty goodness.
  7. Serve the chicken hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley for that vibrant finish.

Notes

For more flavor, marinate the chicken breasts in lemon juice and garlic for an hour before cooking.
