4-Ingredient Chicken Pot Pie

A simple and comforting chicken pot pie recipe that requires just four main ingredients, perfect for busy weeknights or cozy meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and carefully fit it into a pie pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, and cream of chicken soup. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  4. Pour the delicious filling into the pie crust, smoothing it out evenly.
  5. Cover the filling with a second pie crust, seal the edges well, and cut slits in the top for ventilation.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is beautifully golden brown.
  7. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, sauté onions or garlic before mixing the filling. Brush the top crust with an egg wash for a golden finish.
