Classic Coleslaw

A tangy, crunchy coleslaw that complements any meal, perfect for barbecues and holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 small head of green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 medium carrots, grated
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrots in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar in a separate bowl until smooth.
  3. Drizzle the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture, then toss until combined.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, mix purple and green cabbage. Serve alongside dishes like burgers and hot dogs, or use in tacos and sandwiches.
