Air Fryer Teriyaki Chicken

A quick and convenient dish combining savory, sweet, and umami flavors, perfect for weeknights or family meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or steamed veggies for serving
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken pieces in a bowl, pour in teriyaki sauce and olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix until well-coated.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Transfer marinated chicken to air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  4. Serve over rice or steamed veggies, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.

Notes

Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes for deeper flavors. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure crispy edges. Consider adding crushed garlic or ginger to the marinade for an extra kick.
