Baked Italian Grinder Sandwiches

Irresistibly comforting baked sandwiches filled with layers of deli meats, gooey cheese, and zesty toppings, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian bread
  • 4 oz salami
  • 4 oz ham
  • 4 oz capicola
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise.
  3. Layer the deli meats on the bottom half of the bread.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the meats.
  5. Add pepperoncini and drizzle with Italian dressing.
  6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on top.
  7. Place the top half of the bread on and wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, then unwrap and bake for an additional 10 minutes to crisp the bread.
  9. Remove from oven, slice into individual sandwiches, and serve warm.
