Balsamic-Baked Chicken

A quick and flavorful balsamic-baked chicken recipe that’s perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Oregano, dried
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and dried oregano. Season with black pepper and salt.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a shallow baking dish and pour the marinade over them, turning to coat.
  4. Let the chicken sit in the marinade for 10–15 minutes if possible.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) at the thickest part.
  6. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use low-sodium soy sauce if you’re watching salt. For sweetness, add honey or maple syrup to the marinade. Pound uneven breasts for uniform cooking.
