Mango Salsa

A vibrant mango salsa bursting with sweet mangoes, zesty lime, and a hint of spice from jalapeños. Perfect as a dip or topping.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely chopped
  • 1-2 jalapeño peppers, seeds removed and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by dicing the ripe mangoes and placing them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Finely chop the red onion and add it to the bowl with the mango.
  3. Remove the seeds from the jalapeños, then finely chop them and toss them in as well.
  4. Chop up the fresh cilantro and mix it in with the other ingredients.
  5. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture, adding salt to taste.
  6. Gently toss everything together until well combined.
  7. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for an hour to let the flavors meld together.

Notes

Choose ripe mangoes for optimal sweetness. For a milder salsa, reduce the amount of jalapeño.
