Delicious and customizable Burger Bowls that provide all the flavors of a classic burger in a fun, deconstructed format.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the brown rice according to package instructions, which typically takes about 30 minutes.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add the lean ground beef. Season with salt and pepper, cooking until browned—approximately 8 minutes. Drain any excess fat afterward.
  3. While the beef cooks, wash and prepare the cherry tomatoes, shred the lettuce, and slice the pickles.
  4. In each bowl, layer the cooked brown rice, ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Mix the ketchup and mustard in a small bowl, then drizzle this over your assembled bowls.
  6. Serve immediately or enjoy straight from the bowl.
