Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate melting wafers
  • Holly berry sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cookie dough: In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. In another bowl, mix softened butter and brown sugar until creamy. Add maple syrup, egg, and vanilla. Gradually combine with dry ingredients. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Portion the dough: Use a food scale to measure out 1.5 oz portions for uniform cookie balls.
  3. Bake the cookies: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and place cookie balls on a baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, then cool completely on a wire rack.
  4. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate on half power until smooth.
  5. Dip and decorate: Dip half of each cookie into melted chocolate and sprinkle with holly berry decorations.
  6. Let them set: Allow the cookies to rest until the chocolate has cooled and set.

Notes
