Delightful soft and chewy cookies with vibrant sprinkles and a hint of rich pudding flavor, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sprinkles (holiday-themed colors)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the instant vanilla pudding mix, then mix in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the sprinkles gently, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Chilling the dough for about 30 minutes before baking can enhance flavors and improve texture. Experiment with different sprinkles or add crushed peppermint for a twist.
