Cream Cheese Salami Roll Ups

Delightful and easy appetizers made with savory salami and a creamy herb filling, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 12 slices salami
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoons dry chives
  • 2 teaspoons dry onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Green olives, for garnish (optional)
  • Pretzels, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out or microwaving for 15 seconds.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, dry chives, dry onion, garlic powder, and a sprinkle of pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Lay salami slices in a single layer on a cutting board.
  4. Spread a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture over each slice of salami.
  5. Roll each salami slice tightly from one end to the other.
  6. Secure the rolls with toothpicks.
  7. Garnish with green olives or pickles if desired.
  8. Arrange roll ups on a platter and serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

These roll ups can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator. For variations, consider using different meats or adding spice to the cream cheese mixture.
