Cowboy Cheese

A cheesy, creamy dip with savory beef, spicy jalapeños, and gooey cheese, perfect for gatherings and game nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 (16 oz) package Velveeta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until it’s fully browned. Make sure to drain any excess fat.
  2. Mix in vegetables: Add the diced tomatoes, black beans, onions, and bell peppers to the skillet. Stir everything until well combined.
  3. Add the cheese: Cut the Velveeta cheese into cubes and throw them into the skillet. Stir until the cheese has melted and the mixture looks creamy.
  4. Spice it up: If you’re looking for a kick, toss in the jalapeños and mix well for an extra layer of heat.
  5. Serve with love: Serve your Cowboy Cheese hot with a side of tortilla chips for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to customize with different veggies or use ground turkey to make it lighter.
