Crock Pot Angel Chicken

A creamy and flavorful chicken dish made effortlessly in a slow cooker, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and cream cheese until smooth and well combined.
  3. Pour this creamy mixture over the chicken breasts in the crock pot, ensuring they’re thoroughly coated.
  4. Cook on low for 360 minutes (6-8 hours) or high for 240 minutes (3-4 hours), until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, boil the angel hair pasta according to package directions.
  6. When the chicken is done, shred it in the sauce and serve it over the cooked pasta.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and if you like, garnish with parsley for a pop of color.

Notes

Feel free to substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt for a lighter option, or use low-sodium soup for a healthier twist. Browning the chicken in a skillet before slow cooking adds depth of flavor.
