Crock Pot Angel Chicken

A comforting slow-cooked meal combining tender chicken with a creamy sauce, perfect for families and busy individuals.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together the cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, and chicken broth until well combined.
  3. Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken.
  4. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  5. When it’s almost time to eat, cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions.
  6. Once the chicken has cooked, shred it in the crock pot with two forks, soaking it in the sauce.
  7. Serve the shredded chicken over the angel hair pasta and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For best results, don’t rush the cooking time. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
