Crunchy Sweet Christmas Crack

A no-fuss, crowd-pleasing treat with Rice Chex coated in melted white chocolate, peanut butter, and festive sprinkles.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sprinkles (for decoration, optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure 6 cups Rice Chex into a large bowl and set it aside.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine 1 cup white chocolate chips, 1/2 cup peanut butter, and 1/4 cup unsalted butter. Stir constantly until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the warm mixture over the Rice Chex, folding gently until evenly coated.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mixture in a single layer.
  6. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup powdered sugar and add sprinkles, if desired.
  7. Let cool completely at room temperature, then break into pieces.
  8. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

Substitute almond or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version. Use milk or semi-sweet chocolate for a darker flavor.
