Cucumber Caesar Salad

A refreshing twist on classic Caesar salad with crunchy cucumbers and creamy dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 large English cucumber
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup homemade or store-bought croutons
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Begin by slicing the cucumber into thin rounds and placing them into a mixing bowl.
  2. In a smaller bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and mayonnaise until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  3. Incorporate the Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt into the dressing, whisking until well combined.
  4. Pour the dressing over the cucumber slices and gently toss them to ensure every piece is coated.
  5. Add the croutons and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Serve immediately for the best crispness, or refrigerate for a short while before serving if you prefer a chilled salad.

Notes

For best results, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese and consider letting the dressing sit a few minutes to enhance flavors.
