Classic Guacamole

A creamy and zesty guacamole that elevates any gathering with its rich flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the avocados in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Use a fork to mash the avocado to your desired consistency—you can make it chunky or smooth.
  3. Next, add the freshly squeezed lime juice, diced onion, tomatoes, garlic, and a few pinches of salt.
  4. Mix everything together until well combined and the flavors meld beautifully.
  5. If you love the fresh flavor of herbs, fold in some chopped cilantro.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or alongside your favorite dishes.

Notes

To prevent browning, sprinkle lime juice on leftover guacamole and store in an airtight container.
