Easy Peach Cobbler

A warm, comforting dessert featuring a buttery crust and sweet canned peaches, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 large can of peaches
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, melt the butter, then stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix just until combined; don’t over-mix.
  5. Grease a baking dish and pour the batter into it evenly.
  6. Drain the canned peaches and layer them on top of the batter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delicious treat.

Notes

For best results, don’t overmix the batter and use fresh spices for enhanced flavor.
