Easy Slow Cooker Korean Beef

A tender and flavorful slow-cooked Korean beef dish that’s easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or lettuce leaves for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the beef in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Pour the sauce over the beef.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until the beef is tender.
  5. Shred the beef and mix it back into the sauce.
  6. Serve it over rice or in lettuce wraps.

Notes

For best flavor, consider marinating the beef overnight. This dish is easily adaptable; feel free to add vegetables to the slow cooker for extra nutrition.
