Fudgy Football Brownies

Rich, chewy brownies dipped in chocolate ganache and decorated with white chocolate to look like footballs, perfect for game-day desserts.

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownies (your favorite brand)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 1/3 cup hot coffee (freshly brewed)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (for ganache)
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream (hot, for the ganache)
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate chips (for piping the laces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, 1/2 cup oil, 1/3 cup hot coffee, and 1 egg. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes. Check with a toothpick for moist crumbs.
  4. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
  5. Use a football-shaped cookie cutter to cut out football shapes.
  6. If the cutouts are soft, freeze them for 10–15 minutes to firm up.
  7. Make the ganache by combining 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/3 cup hot heavy cream. Whisk until smooth.
  8. Dip the tops of each brownie football into the ganache and return to the baking sheet.
  9. Chill the dipped brownies in the fridge until the ganache sets.
  10. Melt the white chocolate chips and pipe onto the brownies to create laces.
  11. Return to the fridge until fully set before serving.

Notes

You can substitute melted butter for oil and hot water for coffee if desired. For easier melting, use white candy melts instead of white chocolate chips.
