Garlic Butter Baked Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian herbs (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over each piece.
  4. Sprinkle dried Italian herbs over the chicken if desired.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

Let the chicken sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before cooking for even cooking. For a lighter version, swap butter for olive oil.
