Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • Olive oil, for sautéing

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Toss in the sliced onion and sauté until caramelized and golden brown.
  3. Add the ground beef to the onions, cooking until nicely browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Divide the beef and onion mixture among the hoagie rolls.
  5. Top each sandwich with slices of provolone cheese.
  6. Broil the sandwiches until the cheese melts and bubbles.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes
