Healthy Cottage Cheese Buffalo Chicken Dip

A creamy, spicy dip that’s perfect for game day, loaded with protein and bursting with buffalo chicken flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 (12.5 oz) cans of premium chunk chicken breast, or about 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ⅓ cup buffalo wing sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add canned chicken and break apart any large chunks with a fork.
  3. Place the cottage cheese in a blender. Blend until it’s smooth—add a little water if necessary for a creamier texture.
  4. Pour the blended cottage cheese into the bowl with the chicken, then add shredded cheddar cheese and buffalo sauce. Stir everything together thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased large baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
  7. Drizzle with extra buffalo sauce and garnish with ranch or blue cheese dressing, if desired, along with chopped green onions.
  8. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or fresh veggie sticks for dipping!

Notes

Feel free to adjust the spice level of the buffalo sauce. You can add a splash of cream or Greek yogurt for a creamier dip.
