A high-protein version of chocolate banana bread that’s both indulgent and nourishing, perfect as a snack or breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth in a large bowl.
  3. Add the eggs, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract; mix well until fully combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the cocoa powder, protein powder, almond flour, baking soda, and salt until a thick batter forms.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and moisture. Consider adding nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
