High-Protein Honey Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Steamed rice or vegetables (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until well combined.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp, stirring to thoroughly coat them in the sauce.
  6. Continue cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to heat through.
