Italian Grinder Salad Sandwich

A hearty sandwich filled with savory meats, fresh veggies, and creamy mayonnaise, perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb Pepperoni
  • 1/4 lb Salami
  • 1/4 lb Turkey (deli-sliced)
  • 1/3 cup Banana peppers (sliced)
  • 1/2 head Iceberg lettuce (shredded)
  • 1/2 Red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 Tomato (diced)
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 3 Sub rolls
  • 1/4 lb Provolone cheese (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Mix together the pepperoni, salami, and turkey in a large bowl.
  2. Add banana peppers, shredded iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced red onion, and diced tomato.
  3. Combine the mayonnaise with salt and pepper to taste in a separate bowl.
  4. Spread the mayo mixture inside each sub roll.
  5. Layer the meat and veggie mixture onto the rolls, followed by slices of provolone cheese.
  6. Close the sandwiches, cut them in half if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

For added crunch, toast the sub rolls before assembling, and feel free to customize ingredients to your liking.
