Kentucky Pecan Pie

A rich and indulgent pie with a crunchy pecan topping and a hint of chocolate, perfect for holidays and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 large Eggs
  • 3/4 cup light Corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup packed Brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup mini semisweet Chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups Pecans
  • 1 9-inch unbaked deep-dish pie crust
  • 1/2 cup unsalted Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, then gently mix in the pecans and chocolate chips.
  4. Pour this filling into the unbaked pie crust.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the filling has set and the top is lightly browned.
  6. Allow the pie to cool before slicing; serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For best results, pair with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to four days or freeze for up to three months.
