Korean Ground Beef Bowl

A quick and delicious Korean Ground Beef Bowl that blends sweet, salty, and spicy flavors, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef.
  2. Cook the beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, and drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the minced garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes to the skillet.
  4. Stir thoroughly and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over warm cooked rice and garnish with sliced green onions.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute soy sauce with tamari or coconut aminos. Feel free to adjust the spice level by changing the amount of red pepper flakes.
