Mustard Hasselback Kielbasa Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 lb kielbasa sausage
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Slice the kielbasa crosswise, about 1/4-inch thick, creating pockets without cutting all the way through.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow mustard, honey, and smoked paprika; stir until smooth.
  4. Brush the mustard mixture generously over the kielbasa, ensuring the pockets are filled with glaze.
  5. Arrange the kielbasa bites in the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, let the brushed kielbasa sit for 30 minutes before baking. Experiment with different mustard types or add red pepper flakes for heat.
