Savory Party Bites

Delicious savory party bites featuring seasoned ground beef, zesty ranch, and gooey cheese all tucked into crispy phyllo tart shells.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 package (1 oz) taco seasoning
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bottle (8 oz) ranch dressing
  • 5 packages (15 count each) frozen phyllo tart shells

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning, along with the undrained diced tomatoes and chiles. Let this mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese with the ranch dressing. Then, mix in the cooked taco meat until everything is well combined.
  5. Carefully spoon the mixture into the frozen phyllo tart shells.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or 10 to 13 minutes if the tart shells were frozen. Keep an eye on them; you want them to be golden and bubbly.

For best results, reheat leftovers in the oven to maintain crispiness.
