Peach Pie Crumble Bars

Delightful peach pie crumble bars with a buttery, crumbly topping that are quick to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh peach slices
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/16 cup flour
  • 5/8 cup granulated sugar
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Toss the fresh peach slices with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a bit of sugar in a medium-sized bowl. Set aside.
  3. Combine the flour, remaining sugar, and salt in another bowl. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread the peach mixture evenly over the crust, then sprinkle the remaining crumb topping over the peaches.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
  7. Let it cool a bit before slicing into bars. Enjoy!

Notes

These bars are best served warm, and can be enjoyed with vanilla ice cream or crumbled over yogurt.
