Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes

A messy, juicy sandwich that combines the rich flavors of a classic cheesesteak with the ease of a sloppy joe, perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp A-1 sauce
  • 1 tsp steak seasoning
  • 4 toasted buns
  • 4 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onions and green peppers to the skillet, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, A-1 sauce, and steak seasoning. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Serve the savory mixture on toasted buns and top each with a slice of provolone cheese.

Notes

Feel free to swap out ground beef for turkey or chicken for a leaner option. You can also use whole grain buns for a healthier twist.
