Potsticker Soup

A comforting bowl of soup loaded with potstickers, fresh greens, and aromatic spices, perfect for cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • Potstickers (dumplings)
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 cups greens (spinach, bok choy, or similar)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Soy sauce to taste
  • Sesame oil (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a gentle simmer.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Carefully add the potstickers to the broth. Allow them to cook for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in your choice of greens, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  5. Season with soy sauce, a splash of sesame oil (if desired), salt, and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onion slices.

Notes

Consider adding a splash of rice vinegar for tanginess or fish sauce for umami. Use frozen potstickers directly in the soup.
