Ranch Chicken Crock Pot

A creamy and flavorful Ranch Chicken dish cooked in a slow cooker, perfect for busy weeknights and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional for searing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. If desired, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. In the crock pot, combine the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Add the chicken breasts into the pot, ensuring they are well coated with the creamy mixture.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken using two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
  6. Stir in the sour cream and optionally top with shredded cheese and parsley for garnish.

Notes

This dish can be served over rice, mashed potatoes, or made into tacos. Leftovers can be stored for up to 4 days in the fridge or frozen for 2 months.
