Restaurant-Worthy Guacamole

A creamy and zesty guacamole that’s perfect for gatherings or as a flavorful accompaniment to any Mexican dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Tajín seasoning to taste
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Smash the chopped onion, jalapeño, and minced garlic together using a molcajete or place in a zip-top bag and roll over with a rolling pin.
  2. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the creamy flesh into a mixing bowl or onto a cutting board.
  3. Mash the avocado to your desired smoothness using a fork.
  4. Fold in the smashed onion mixture, cilantro, lime juice, Tajín, and salt, ensuring everything is well combined.
  5. Taste your guacamole and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  6. Serve immediately with your favorite tortilla chips and enjoy!

Notes

Use ripe avocados for the best flavor and texture. Store in an airtight container to minimize browning.
