Salted Peppermint Chocolate Bark

A delightful combination of dark and white chocolate, flecked with crushed peppermint, perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • Sea salt flakes

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave or a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and stir in the peppermint extract.
  5. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate layer, creating swirls.
  6. Use a skewer to gently swirl the two chocolates together for a marbled effect.
  7. Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies and sea salt flakes on top.
  8. Allow the bark to cool until fully set, or refrigerate for quicker results.
  9. Once set, break into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. You can also refrigerate or freeze it for longer preservation.
