Strawberries and Cream Overnight Oats

A wholesome and convenient breakfast dish that combines the softness of oats with the freshness of strawberries, prepared the night before for a quick morning meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl or jar, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, and chia seeds. Stir until well mixed.
  2. If desired, add honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract. Mix again.
  3. Layer the sliced strawberries on top.
  4. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
  5. In the morning, stir and enjoy cold or at room temperature!

Notes

For a creamier texture, allow the oats to soak for up to 24 hours. Add toppings just before serving to maintain freshness.
