Sweet Chili Chicken

A quick and savory dish combining tender chicken pieces with a rich sweet chili sauce, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken pieces with a dash of salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and lime juice until well combined.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce warms through.
  7. Serve garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, swap chicken for tofu. Serve with jasmine rice or stir-fried vegetables for a complete meal.
