Sweet & Spicy Cranberry Orange BBQ Meatballs

Delicious meatballs featuring a sweet and spicy cranberry orange sauce, perfect for holiday parties or cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag fully cooked plain beef meatballs (about 50)
  • 1 can whole cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup spicy barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
  • 2-3 fresh rosemary sprigs (or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary)
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs in an even layer and brown them on all sides.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium-low; pour in the cranberry sauce, orange marmalade, and barbecue sauce. Stir until everything is well combined.
  3. Add the orange zest and rosemary, cooking until it’s bubbly and the meatballs are heated through.
  4. Remove the rosemary stems before serving. Serve from the pan or transfer to a slow cooker.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, sear the meatballs longer. You can also use different meats or barbecue sauces to customize the dish.
