Tasty Teriyaki Salmon Bowl

A quick and easy Teriyaki Salmon Bowl featuring succulent salmon, vibrant veggies, and a glossy teriyaki glaze.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  3. In the last minute of cooking, pour teriyaki sauce over the salmon to glaze it perfectly.
  4. In another pot, steam the broccoli, carrot, and bell pepper until they are tender.
  5. To serve, place the cooked rice in bowls, top it with the salmon, the steamed vegetables, and drizzle with additional teriyaki sauce if desired.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

For a twist, try using different vegetables or proteins like chicken or tofu. Ensure your pan is hot before adding salmon for better browning.
