Ingredients

  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Butter, melted
  • 1.5 cups Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to its instructions.
  2. Beat the eggs in a medium bowl until fluffy and slightly frothy.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a separate large bowl.
  4. Mix the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl until well combined.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients while stirring gently; mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the beaten eggs to the batter, being cautious not to overmix.
  7. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve warm, topped with your favorite options.

Notes

Don’t overmix the batter; lumps are fine. For extra fluffiness, let the batter rest before cooking.
